Banned on Phone, but not on Desktop
« on: August 10, 2016, 04:25:am »
Whenever I check Fish Eaters on my phone, it says I've been banned.  I can log in and post just fine using my desktop though.  When I first noticed this, I was not able to get to my desktop right away, and thought that perhaps someone had hacked my account and posted inappropriate things.  There sure have been some weird glitches on this site lately.  Maybe that means good work is being done here.

Hmm....very odd! Don't have a problem on my phone. Vox had someone add an SSL cert for a problem that sounded related to what you are reporting. Does the address you visit on your phone begin with http or https? Or neither?

I tried it with each of those, and with neither of them.  It doesn't work on my phone.

Go to Google and enter "what is my IP" in the search box. Private message me what Google responds with. It is possible the IP you were assigned by your ISP was previously associated with SPAM and it got blocked by the forum.
