"O Jesus, Whose adorable Face ravished my heart, I implore Thee to fix deep within me Thy Divine Image and to set me on fire with Thy Love, that I may be found worthy to come to the contemplation of Thy glorious Face in Heaven. Amen." - St. Therese of Lisieux

I Wish People Would Stop Saying "Wardrobe Malfunction" And Replace It With The More Correct Term Of "Deliberate Nipple Flashing By An Aging Attention Whore."

Seriously!  It's so overused now it has lost its shock value. :P

People don't even use it for shock value anymore. It's pretty much become a throw away word that means nothing, but still has a vulgar flare to it. I tend to find all swear words in English to be kind of funny because they're pretty much only alternative ways to say another word that someone decided was vulgar. Like what's the difference between poop and s***? Coitus, sexual intercourse, and f***ing? Penis and d***? Female dog and b****.  Anus and a**h***. I could go on. In the past bad language was more often associated with blasphemy, in which case, yes these are actually horrible things to say. The majority of our modern swear words aren't blasphemous at all.
Miserere mei Deus: secundum magnam misericordiam tuam.
Et secundum multitudinem miserationum tuarum: dele iniquitatem meam.

Islamophobia
"Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?" On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."  Matthew 9:10-14

All the -phobias that aren't actually part of the psychiatric lexicon: Islamophobia, homophobia, transphobia and the like.

As a pedantic student of psychiatric classification, such imprecise use irks me. A phobia is an irrational fear of a situation or object that would not ordinarily evoke fear. Disgust or moral revulsion are not "phobia". Rational fear and prudence are not "phobia".  :P

Also, I wouldn't mind a moratorium on "Nazi" except when used by historians and the like to refer to the phenomenon of National Socialism / Adolf Hitler in general. It's become the most tired and inaccurate insult ever.   :)
"The Church founded by the Redeemer is one, the same for all races and all nations. Beneath her dome, as beneath the vault of heaven, there is but one country for all nations and tongues; there is room for the development of every quality, advantage, task and vocation which God the Creator and Savior has allotted to individuals as well as to ethnical communities."

- Pope Pius XI, encyclical "Mit Brennender Sorge"

Agreed - those terms irk me, too, for the same reason. Of course, that's exactly why the left use them, to make disapproval of homosexual behaviour or Islam, and those who disapprove, seem irrational. And then since it's irrational, it can be censored, and the people holding those irrational opinions safely ridiculed.

Any Sentence Or Paragraph That Is Typed Like This. I Don't Know When This Became Trendy, But It Makes No Sense.

I think that's a result of tablet and smartphones. I seems to me that you can default it so that Every Word Starts With A Capital Letter. It's very common nowdays.
"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth was gone, and the sea is now no more.

And I John saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice from the throne, saying: Behold the tabernacle of God with men, and he will dwell with them. And they shall be his people; and God himself with them shall be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and death shall be no more, nor mourning, nor crying, nor sorrow shall be any more, for the former things are passed away." The Apocalypse 21:1-4

Fixed it for you, PM.

I'd nix anything related to Madonna. Even better, I'd arrange a PPV death match between Madonna, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, and Alanis Morrissette. Then donate the proceeds to end world hunger.

Oh there are ways it can be used that still have shock value.  I had a spiritual director who said that right in the middle of one of our meetings once, which was pretty surprising.  He was very helpful, but he sure had a potty mouth.  I wasn't offended, but it seemed a very unusual time to swear.

This is my 1,000th post!
