Need Prayers In Case Of A Stroke
« on: February 17, 2017, 01:20:am »
Dear fellow Fisheaters,

Please pray for me that I get healed from the effects of what might be a stroke or mini-stroke that I went through.

Even though I'm on SSDI and such, I still have phone and electricity bills to pay, as well as stuff I still have to deal with regarding the MA Registry of Motor Vehicles. Any major health problems I might suffer with would only get in the way of paying my bills and going safely to my doctor's appointments.

I live by myself since I have two forms of Autism as well as Type One Diabetes. My only sibling, my sister, lives in western Kentucky and is too far away to help me.

Thank you all in advance for your prayers and Rosaries. They are always needed and greatly appreciated. God richly bless you all through Our Lady of Fatima and St. Joseph the Worker.

You will be in my prayers mate
"Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?" On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."  Matthew 9:10-14

Dear fellow Fisheaters, here is a brief update.

I was at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA last Friday night through early Saturday afternoon. I had blood drawn twice, a urine sample taken, a CT scan done on my head and then an MRI scan done on my head.

Bad news: I had two mini-strokes last week, both affecting the right side of my body.

Good news: I suffered no damage in my brain tissue. In other words, I dodged a bullet, so to speak. May Jesus Christ be praised through Our Lady of the Rosary.

However, Thursday morning this week, I have to see my primary care physician regarding these mini-strokes.

Then on early Friday afternoon, I have to see a neurologist assigned to me in light of what I've suffered.

So I ask you all, in your charity, to please beg Our Lord and Our Lady to make the appointments turn out well. And that I not be an occasion of sin or embarrassment to either doctor, as well as I keep being healed from the mini-strokes.

I will update when I get new news here. Thank you in advance for your intercession for me before the Good Lord.

HailGilbert, you know from Facebook that you are in my prayers.

But I've only just seen this here at FE and am realising more and more clearly what you have been through. (Partly because I've never yet suffered major health crises  a lot of medical terminology can be opaque to me, but this makes it graphically clear and I am glad you posted it.)

Again, please continue to know that my wife and I are continuing to pray for you every day ...
