<style></style> <style></style> After making some inquiries, I today heard from Monika Barber of Saint Joseph Communications with an update of the Douay-Rheims Old Testament audiobook:
Quote:Saint Joseph Communications, Inc. is currently in the process of re-reading the Douay-Rheims Old Testament onto CD. There is no set release date yet, but I would say a safe guess would be sometime in the fall of this year. The release will be announced on our website www.saintjoe.com Thank you so much for your support. May God bless you and your family!    In the Hearts of the Holy Family,     Monika Barber

The Librivox thing is a good idea- not many Catholic books on there that I know of, and so many of them are in the public domain that it seems a shame not to have them recorded, for free. :)
The Pentateuch and New Testament are both available on audio CD (Douay Rheims).  I hope sometime this year the rest of the Old Testament will be available.

When the rest of the Old Testament is finally made available from Saint Joseph Communications, will it be available with the New Testament as a complete set?
Another Douay-Rheims Bible audiobook project:

Here are the Gospels for free (DR version).  It's supposed to go with the iPieta app for iphone, but anyone can download them for free.  There's also tons of prayers and devotions in English and Latin, the entire TLM, the Rosary in Latin and English and the Stations of the Cross..... Really, quite an amazing collection (651 recordings!).

Edited to add: Ok, so I just read the fine print .... sorry. But, maybe you have an iPhone and would like the iPieta app. :)

 This was written almost three years ago... and still nothing yet.
