My mother-in-law, a protestant, is on her death bed.  Prayers please.  Also, would it be appropriate to ask a priest to come to her?

If she'd be open to meeting with him, then of course.

Prayers for all of you.[Image: prayer.gif]

What if a Protestant were comatose on their deathbed and a priest administered Last Rites?  I know personally of an incident such as this.

I think that would only be licit if the Protestant made some indication that Last Rites were wanted.  (Even just an offhand comment).  However, I don't think a priest can give Last Rites to a non-Catholic unless there's some indication that they're wanted (which implies they want to be Catholic).
