you know when I was a lad, the nuns had us do a skit to Heal the World, hahaha
I don't know exactly why, but there are a couple of sequential verses in the Eagles' "Sad Cafe" that remind me of VatII:

"Oh, it seemed like a holy place
Protected by amazing grace
And we would sing right out loud
The things we could not say.

We thought we could change this world
With words like 'love' and 'freedom'
We were part of the lonely crowd
Outside the Sad Cafe"
