Interesting - thanks. He has a good voice.
Thanks for the link.

He says recording will end on January 31st.
Yeah, I can't wait to put it on my ipod.
I was kinda' wondering what exact edition of the D-R he was reading from.
I saw a few links to drbo.org on his site. Maybe he is reading directly from that?

drbo.org uses the 1899 John Murphy Company edition, which was used to produce the facsimile soft cover edition that TAN Books offered for so many years.
Maybe I'll email Mr. Webb and ask him for sure.

I emailed him and he emailed back already.
He said that he is using both http://www.drbo.org/ and http://www.tldm.org/bible/bible.htm because each of them has their own typos, so he uses them both to cross check one to another.

Cool! Did he mention when it will be released?
I like it, except for some reason the older English (with the "thees" and "thous") only sounds right to me when spoken with a British accent.

I was going to say something similar.  His accent sounds VERY American.  It isn't the soft American accent you sometimes hear in films.  As a New Zealander, I would much prefer to hear the recordings in BBC English.
This reminds me of a thread I began some time ago which highlighted a Douay-Rheims Bible audiobook:

I purchased the new recording of the New Testament by Steve Webb here.

The mp3 files have a few problems. The first one I noticed is when I put them on my iphone.

They uploaded as a huge clump of over 200 files (one for each chapter of each book of the NT) that were completely out of order.
The seller replied that he thought he had already fixed that problem and he would look into it.

The second was an editing problem that causes one to hear the last few seconds of the previous track when a new track it started.

I notified the seller of these problems some weeks ago.

He is yet to reply with any results. If any of you are looking to purchase this, you might want to wait until everything is fixed.
