actually, if enough Catholic men turned up at Notre Dame, they could escort the homosexuals to the Grand Mosque and encourage them to stage their kiss-in there.

but that's an evil thought.  mea culpa.

the Catholic men could then escort any homosexuals who slipped through their barricade out the door once they did anything improper.

of course, i'd also be in favor of any little old French ladies who wanted to stay after Mass to hit sinners over the head with their purses.  and picketers outside carrying signs asking when they're going to stage a "kiss-in" at a mosque, shouting the same questions at them.  playing nice does not work with people who pull such stunts.

in any case, Notre Dame saw worse during the Reign of Terror, she and the Church will survive.

PM me if the French Trads go.  My bover boots are shiny and I am 2 hours away by high speed train.

yeah, that was what i envisioned, too, and it is an evil thought.

but i also envisioned the homosexuals begging the Catholics to protect them from the Muslims, which was an amusing thought.

and then I envisioned that the homosexuals would repent, being thankful of having the protection of the Catholics, and become faithful, chaste Catholics, which is a good thought.  maybe unlikely, but i like it.

I guess you really ought not to think about Jehovah annihilating two cities full of sexual deviants in the Old Testament.

Romans 12:19 Wrote:Revenge not yourselves, my dearly beloved; but give place unto wrath, for it is written: Revenge is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord. 20 But if thy enemy be hungry, give him to eat; if he thirst, give him to drink. For, doing this, thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head.

21 Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil by good.

It is not our place to rejoice in other men doing something not within our power - something reserved only for God.

Anyone own a key to the door?

It is not our place to rejoice in other men doing something not within our power - something reserved only for God.
It is within our power and duty to stand against these unrepentent reprobates and keep them away from all things holy, including the house of God.

This is not about revenge but righteousness.

We must stand against this evil.

God hates a coward.

You misunderstand me. I said:

"*envisions a swarm of angry Muslims armed with daggers and swords descending upon the french-kissing homosexuals*"

implying they were being murdered, something we, as Catholics, would not justify. God will provide their punishment.

To this, you said:

"I guess you really ought not to think about Jehovah annihilating two cities full of sexual deviants in the Old Testament."

We are not God and do not have His power of vengeance by taking the life of a homosexual.

To this:

Quote:We must stand against this evil.

God hates a coward.

I would agree.

But killing homosexuals is not "righteousness" - that is God's business. If it is righteousness, then why aren't you doing it?
