Pay special attention to the 3:22 mark, where Michael Voris reads a poem a priest emailed him. Scary stuff:

Edit: Actually, after having watched it again it seems like the priest was being sarcastic. But still an interesting video.
Borrowing your thread, Moo. Thanks.

Michael Voris may soon require his own sub forum (sorry Lisa)...

He will if he keeps this up.  He just called the Novus Ordo a Protestant Mass.  He may be jumping to the TLM faster than I guessed.

What's sad is that there are good attempts being made to bring home fallen-away Catholics.  They just don't seem to be done by official channels.  The Epic movie at http://www.catholicscomehome.org/ gives me goosebumps, as does this one by Catholic Mountain that's directed toward men: http://www.catholicmountain.com/video/we...c-mountain .  (Most men today need to watch that second one a bunch of times.  I know I do.)

These pieces and shows like Voris's don't offer prospective Catholics guitars and good times, and they don't try to Protestantize the faith or dumb it down so young people can handle it.  Instead of telling people how easy and nice the faith is, they challenge people with the awesomeness of it all.  As Fr. Z. would say, they present a 'Catholic identity' that's like nothing else and not ashamed to say so.
Mr. Voris, it seems, works for the forces of Heaven.  Pray

Yep.  Totally worth it, IMO.  There's some good stuff in there.  And the Vortex is getting better and better every day.  How about yesterday's (embedded above)?  Good stuff.

Both are great!  Especially the Catholic Mountain one, that was absolutely epic!  So good to see these sort of things out there.  Smile
For someone who grew up in the 70s and 80s, it's kind of a shock to see Catholics creating art and media that use bold images, music, and words, instead of pastel felts, pablum, and strumming.
