November 2 -- All Souls' Day, the indulgence of toties quoties ("as often as"), that is, it may be gained as often as one wishes, applicable to the souls in purgatory.. The traditional practice is to gain the release of the holy souls by the "toties quoties" indulgence: visit a Church and/or cemetery, say your usual prayers for the poor souls, leave the Church, then come back and repeat as often as you like. As often as this is done, the indulgence is gained and applied.  The preeent regulation, I believe, is that a plenary indulgence can be gained only once a day.  The practice of "toties quoties" is extended within the octave, so that a plenary indulgence can be gained for each of these eight days.

There's the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass which should be offered regularly, at least twice a month, with the intention (at least) of applying it to the most forsaken soul who has nobody to pray for it. Lastly, make the Heroic Act of Charity (consign all your good works, merits and indulgences in the hands of the Blessed Mother in favor of the Holy Souls), or renew it this day.

Is anybody aware of the traditional three consecutive Masses on All Souls Day (Nov. 2) and that reception of Holy Communion is allowed twice?  Ask your priest.  Plenary Indulgence can be gained applicable to the Poor Souls only.  Be mindful of the conditions of gaining a plenary indulgence (Confession and Holy Communion within the Octave)..
