Full Version: Anyone ever read the Diatesseron

It was written in the late 2nd century. It Was an attempt to turn the 4 gospels into one cohesive whole. Sort of the first "Jesus Novel". It was used as the scripture that was read in church on Sunday by some of the Assyrian churches for about 100 years.
Yes. It was interesting, though a bit haphazard at times. Makes for a good read if you don't feel like taking the individual accounts in sequence.

Sorry to come to the conversation late, but the great St. Ephrem even wrote a commentary on the Diatessaron in his native Syriac.
