It was kind of an obscure reference to a strange poster we used to have.

If it ain't baroque don't fix it.
I don't really like baroque vestments, and especially not in gothic churches.
I'm sure it's been done before.  It's not like all the Romanesque and Gothic churches in Europe stopped being used when Baroque fashion appeared.

I'm not the biggest fan of the Baroque aesthetic, but it's a million times better than a Gothic chasuble made from bright green polyester.

Most Romanesque churches were demolished.  :)
When it comes to the baroque - be it in architecture, in music, in vestments, or in furniture - just say no.
I hate all of you, my brothers. Baroque is the greatest style of architecture, music, politics, and painting in history. Those chasubles in that Gothic chapel were beautiful...

You don't like Bach and Vivaldi?

In that article, it says 'Their girls' first names are Mary. Their boys' middle names are Mary.' Just want to point out that I gave Mary as a middle name to all my children, boys and girls. There are already too many Marys in Catholic schools!
