Just as some Africans don't exerience breasts as erotic, some Muslims find a women's heel as sexual. Different culture

UNDENIABLE SUPPORT OF DHIMMITUDE.

well if that's your definition of it, oh well. Different methods for different cultures. Missionary preaching seems to work better in Asia

I asked for or against dhimmitude. Rather than sayn no way no how under no circumstances, you said it depends what they ask of us.

So you're willing to concede to a dhimmitude.

This is why modernists will have no martyrs...
You can show respect for a person by being charitable and courteous to them. That are so many ways to do that. That doesn't include showing reverence for their false beliefs, especially when they blaspheme the Holy Trinity and the Divinity of Jesus.

Do you think that the muslims will kiss the Holy Bible?  :eyeroll:

The Holy Father had to be censured for that action. It was a grave scandal, no matter what the intention.

In a classical beatification trial, the Devil's advocate could block the person's beatification forever in bringing that single fact to mind.
irregardless on whether kissing an object is a sign of respect, the mere fact that Catholics are complaining about it, years after it happened, shows that it was a true scandal and something the Holy Father was imprudent to do.
