Full Version: All the Little Squabbles will Pale in Comparison...

We see our world, our society changing before our very eyes.  The evil agendas grow stronger and stronger.  There is great suffering in many parts of the world that our country turns a blind eye to as though we are immune. The scourge of Islam in Africa and Asia is gathering strength and leaving bodies in its wake as its tsunami overruns country after country.  It is quietly (for the most part) flooding Europe and the nations are slowly losing their nationality and identity.  We live in an apocalyptic time--again.  Our country promotes, provides, and protects the murder of the unborn to the tens of millions. The Aztecs killed no more than we do now in the name of a 'right'.  We were made male and female and 7 year olds have not normally spent their time worrying about their gender but played with dolls or trucks whichever the gender was normally drawn too.  But now even adoption is not safe for the perverting will start young and it does start young as our schools teach that homosexuality is a "normal lifestyle choice". Androgyny is the seeming goal. Lust is addictive and it does not lead to heaven.

We have forgotten as a whole that we are made to return to the Father, our Creator. We are an addicted society--to drugs both legal and illegal, to pleasure, to entertainment, to porn, to lust and this addicted society does not want God or His Conmmandments to dampen their chosen vice.  And those who speak against the perversions, the murders, the vices are going to be targeted more and  more.  The little squabbles about what Mass is best and all that will be pale then for we will long for the Eucharist that may be difficult to obtain as it was under communism and other atheistic regimes.

It is time to prepare for the enduring season is soon to be upon us. Are we ready?  Am I ready? To I take the small challenges, misunderstandings, and setbacks in stride now?  What is the state of my own soul?  Am I living as intense of a sacramental life as I possibly can?  It is good that conquers evil in the end. It is holiness that merits for one's salvation and that of others.  The world as we know it is passing away.
……………
Those who knowingly reject the Catholic Church, then, are rejecting the Father, for it is His Kingdom, His house, His Son’s body. The implications are huge and eternal.

Mark Mallet:     “BE READY FOR MARTYRDOM”
For the Church now lies upon the threshold of her own Passion. The time of sifting is upon her: the time to choose between Christ’s Kingdom or Satan’s. There will no longer be an in between: the royal lands of the lukewarm will either be occupied with the cold or the hot.

The Church… intends to continue to raise her voice in defense of mankind, even when policies of States and the majority of public opinion moves in the opposite direction. Truth, indeed, draws strength from itself and not from the amount of consent it arouses. —POPE BENEDICT XVI, Vatican, March 20, 2006

Extending Christ’s kingdom of peace and truth today means being ready to suffer and to lose one’s life in martyrdom, said Pope Benedict, in a recent meeting with world religious leaders in Assisi, Italy.

“He is a king,” the Pope said, “who causes the chariots and charioteers of battle to disappear, who will shatter the bows of war; he is a king who will bring peace to fulfillment on the cross by joining heaven and earth, and by throwing a bridge of brotherhood between all peoples. The cross is the new bow of peace, the sign and instrument of reconciliation, of forgiveness, of understanding, a sign of the love that is stronger than all violence and oppression, stronger than death: Evil is conquered with good, with love.”

And to participate in extending this kingdom, the Holy Father continued, Christians have to resist the temptation “to become wolves in the midst of wolves.”

“It is not with power, with force or with violence that Christ’s kingdom of peace is extended, but with the gift of self, with love taken to the extreme, even toward our enemies,” he declared. “Jesus does not conquer the world with the strength of armies, but with the strength of the cross, which is victory’s true guarantee. Consequently, for the one who desires to be the Lord’s disciple — his messenger — this means being ready for suffering and martyrdom, being ready to lose one’s life for him, so that good, love and peace may triumph in the world. This is the condition for being able to say, upon entering into any circumstance: ‘Peace be to this house!’ (Luke 10:5).”

“WE MUST BE WILLING TO PAY PERSONALLY, TO SUFFER IN THE FIRST PERSON MISUNDERSTANDINGS, REJECTIONS, PERSECUTION…IS NOT THE SWORD OF THE CONQUERER THAT BUILDS PEACE”, the Pope affirmed, “BUT THE SWORD OF THE SUFFERER, OF HE WHO KNOWS HOW TO GIVE HIS VERY LIFE.“

"The little squabbles about what Mass is best and all that will be pale then for we will long for the Eucharist that may be difficult to obtain as it was under communism and other atheistic regimes..."

Well, the whole world revolves around the Holy Mass. Stop all Holy Masses around the world for a day, as St Leonard of Port Maurice wrote, and the end will be upon us.

And dare we say that there is no difference between the Novus Ordo and the Traditional Latin Mass?
Padre Pio said the world could exist easier without the sun tthan without the mass.

There are many good thoughts in your OP that we need to keep in mind however I would edit the above sentence to this

Quote: The little squabbles will be pale then for we will long for the Eucharist that may be difficult to obtain as it was under communism and other atheistic regimes.

Squabbles are generally silly, the definition is one which includes pettiness. "Squabbles" about the differences between NO and TLM are crucial because those answers and the graces received from the Mass play the greatest part in preparation for everything else you wrote. Which is why they don't classify as "squabbles". People can be petty in their treatment of the subject matter and if that's what you're looking to curb, I can stand behind that. The subject itself however is far from petty.
