I was perusing the document library at CatholicCulture.org and came across lots of material by Fr William Most. Some of it looks good to me, but then again, what do I know. Does anyone know if his niterpretations of Scripture are solidly orthodox???

You can see some of his stuff here:

I think I may have heard that Fr. Most does go along with the modernist establishment. Correct me if I am wrong though, anyone. If I am correct, then just be cautious about his writings. I know that that site you are mentioning, StAthanasius, is a conservative NO site (as far as it seems to me), and I would just beware of that whole website altogether. It puts down the SSPX of course and says they are in schism.

He's mostly orthodox, from what little I've read of him.

With modern Scripture scholars like Most, the thing you have to watch out for the most is their tendency to follow the trends of historical criticism - dating the gospels and epistles much later than they were written, questioning the authorship, etc.

Fr. Most's stuff on St. Matthew's Gospel was pretty good, I thought.
My own standard is probably simplistic. When something doesn't sound pious, I just leave it. :)
