So it looks like the chancery in the diocese of Madison has its self a new altar to replace the cramner table that stood there.

Oh and yes I mean altar.

I've heard a lot of good things about Bishop Morlino.  :)
Wow.  A new altar.  That's amazing.  My only criticism is the church still needs a crucifix above the altar, not a cool hippy Jesus, and put some decorations or statues up.  It looks like the soul of a modernist liberal.

Though I do not disagree, it seems to me that the correctly facing altar along with the arrangement contributes a new dignity towards the painting you are referring to as well as the rest of the space. If I was not nitpick I would say that the altar needed to be a few steps more elevated than it is, however even  as it stands it is at least worthy of being called a worship space.
