There's no doubt in my mind that there's over 300 posts like this on here. It doesn't hurt to start another though.
I need a few good book recommendations, of course, for spiritual reading.

Something that's not monotonous but rather gripping.

Help me be a saint  :)

God Bless!
I'm fond of:
Introduction to the Devout Life by St. Francis de Sales
The Sinner's Guide (not a how-to manual, as Fr. Buckley used to say!)
The Spiritual Combat
The Imitation of Christ
Anymore my spiritual reading consists of:

The New Testament
The Psalter
The Glories of Mary
The Imitation of Christ
You want gripping? You should read "purgatory" by Fr. Schouppe. It scared the socks off me. It's the best book on Purgatory that I've read, as it spurred me on to praying frequently for the poor souls and doing more penitential acts.
The Bible......and the following books by Francis de Sales:

Introduction to the Devout Life
Finding God's Will For You
Living Love
The Art of Loving God
Letters of Spiritual Direction

I must check out the second one!!  :)
Christ, the Life of the Soul, by Bl. Columba Marmion.

Actually, anything by him.

Christ, the Life of the Soul was strongly recommended to us during an SSPX retreat by Fr. Hugues Bergez.  Bl. Columba's approach to living the Faith is Christ-centered, simple, but extremely profound.  The book is divided into short sections.  The usual advice is the read it a little at a time, which makes it perfect for spiritual reading.

The new translation has annoying footnotes qualifying Bl. Columba in light of Vatican II.  You don't have to read them.

You can get it here:  http://www.zaccheuspress.com/?area=product-detail&id=0000000039, or, of course, at Amazon.
In addition to the above why not read the sayings of the desert fathers
also the Interior Castle by st Theresa of Avila.

That one has helped me along in my prayer life, immensly.
