As the title indicates, I'm looking for something written by St. Jerome. I'm pretty sure that it is either a letter or a homily, but the only thing I can remember about it is St. Jerome's comparison of the world to a woman who has borne many children. The basic sense of the comparison was that the earth is worn out and people now are worse than those in the past. It's not a lot to go on, but does anybody know what I'm talking about?
