“Peace” in the Holy Land for Christmas?, America has the “battle plan”

“This is an excellent article.
Notice especially the pertinent statement of our Pope, Saint Pius X:
"We are unable to favor this movement. We cannot prevent the Jews from going to Jerusalem-but we could never sanction it. The ground of Jerusalem, if it were not always sacred, has been sanctified by the life of Jesus Christ. As the head of the Church, I cannot answer you otherwise. The Jews have not recognized Our Lord; therefore we cannot recognize the Jewish people."
Furthermore, the author presents some clear insights :
"…But although the Jewish power of Communism has been quantitatively a greater oppressor of the Church - having killed more priests and desecrated more altars - the Jewish power of Zionism has hit the Church at the very core by seizing and profaning the one land which above all others is the Holy Land..."”

Who even follows what St. Pius X said?

St. Pius X is just too out of date now. The Church needs to change and get with the times.  What the pontiff had to say in the early 20th century may have been relevant at that time, but today it really is not applicable. As a woman once told me, " Why do you want to bring back the dinosaur?"

You are absolutely right. It's not applicable today. Null and void.
Vatican II changed all that.
Please, please, please  be being sarcastic... Unsure
Another wonderful quote from a wonderful Pope.
Going back on what Pope St. Pius X related, it is also very interesting indeed that he considered Communism to be  a Jewish movement.

I, myself, as a TO in the SFO (before I left it for the SSPX) actually insisted on doing the Oath Against Modernism when I was elected minister of our local fraternity.  People were shocked, but the friar in charge allowed it.  To this day, I yearly renew the Oath, even though it is not required for TO/SSPX.  I am an academic (now retired) who taught and published, and I was very happy to take the Oath.
