2013 is election year (it's three-year terms for all except the president which is six years).  The bishops have all the names of those running for reelection who opt or are in favor of the RH bill and are telling Catholics and non-Caths as well not to vote these incumbents in but send them packing back home.  There is a kind of "separation" of church and state but the veil that separates is so thin and delicate that there is no fear of government recrimination or sanction.  So it looks like the Catholics are going to get their way.  Besides, it is no secret that the push for the RH is financed by the US, the UN, and personally, I think, by his lord and master, O Bum A, whom idiotic Jaimie Foxx addressed as "Our Lord and Savior."
