A new version of a proposed colorado civil unions bill has dropped provisions that protect agencies from being forced to place children in same sex and unmarried opposite sex couples - a changge that could put at risk Catholic Charities adoption and foster care services in the state.
Huh? Huh? Huh?

Methinks the Catholic Charities adoption and foster care services are only going to close because they depend heavily on the government money.
If there were enough catholics who would help with part of their salaries, this situation would not affect those charity services.
The problem is that governments already take a big chunk from people's salaries by means of taxes, so there is little left for charity.

“shall not be interpreted to require a child placement agency to place a child for adoption” with a couple in a civil union.

It doesn't matter how much money Catholics contribute, the absence of these words will unquestionably lead to lawsuits if the Catholic Adoption Services refuses to place a child.  The rephrasing of this Bill is coercion by the State and a restriction of religious freedom.  There appears to be a growing national effort to exclude the Church from any social services, the possible intent to place all such services under government control must be considered.
The new speaker  of the Colorado house was front page news and is 'celebrated' for being a homosexual.  The push for civil unions is stronger than ever and other gays also won election.  To give children to those few sodomite couples that want them is child abuse.  They will not grow up normal, no matter how much society and media claims that sodomy is a 'new normal'.  It is outside of natural law and God's law and no amount of legislation can change that.  And no amount of coercion and punishment can make make the knowledge that sodomy is sin change either.  It is not something that leads a soul to God.
