Here is an interesting analysis of the Faustian Mercedes Benz superbowl ad, where a man is asked to sell his soul to the devil to obtain a new model of Mercedes Benz that will lead to a life of fame, riches, and pleasures.

In addition, I did a little research regarding the inscription that is on the contract that is offered to the man to sign ("Sigilla posuere magister diabolus et daemones"). This is an excerpt from the Pactum Satanicum of 1633/1634, and it is said to be used at Black Masses, which invert and mock the sacred words and symbols of the Catholic Mass.  The full Latin text may be found here:

I think whoever put this ad together must have had extensive knowledge of the occult and Satanic rituals.
That tune was where I stopped being a Stones fan. I wasn't a practicing Catholic then, but it bothered me, and I knew on a gut level it wasn't right. Mercedes Benz has a history of being dense. A few years back they had an English commercial which aired in the States as well for a few days till it was yanked. In the advert, they used the music which all the clubs in Britain used for their signoff tune during the Blitz, they had forgotten that anyone that remembered would be offended. It was like they were saying up your nose !

There has been a few threads here in the tank about increases in demonic activity recently.  It is happening.  This is the minor chastisement.  We are here.

Something happened over the last few months, a door or something as been opened.  Maybe Mary is having an increasingly difficult time holding back her son's hand.

If I may rant for a moment:  I'm getting sick of all the talk of Super Bowl commercials.  That's all they were talking about on the radio this morning, even the sports stations.  They're commercials for goodness sake! 

But this is a good analysis.  There's definitely something afoot, my spidey sensus catholicus is tingling, and not in a good way.  There's something happening here, what it is ain't exactly clear, and so forth.....
So Willem Dafoe is wearing a freemasonry ring; what's the other one? I can't quite make it out.

Well obviously, they are much more than commercials, as the linked article makes clear.  But in the larger picture, they are what most sane people fast forward through on our DVRs.  It's like the NFL and the ad agencies have conspired to put some sort of spell on teevee viewers for four hours each February.  People are mesmerized. 
I muted the commercials and still got annoyed by them. I gave up watching the game right before halftime, tried to lay down but couldn't sleep. Of course, that's when all the "good stuff" happened. I thought for sure, the 49ers were gonna win it. It was bizarre.
