Now a big win for Canon 915 here would be for Francis to make Cardinal Wuerl deny them communion.

HAHA you mean the guy who kicked a priest out of his diocese for denying Communion to a open and practicing Leabian? Irony

Pray hard for the Holy Father to have the courage to endure the firestorm sure to come. Either choice will bring one. Hopefully, he'll make the right one.
It would be a miracle if the Pope denied them Communion. He will not deny it even to Cristina Kirchner, I think.
We are hearing a lot about "mercy"...forgetting that mercy cannot be shown to the unrepentant ....
I can't seem to find anything about it. Does anyone know if they're were permitted to receive the Blessed Sacrament at the Pope's Mass?

God is merciful yes,  but He is also a just God.  Mercy without justice is meaningless.
They probably did, but not at the hands of the Holy Father (who probably wouldn't recognize who they were anyway).
