I'm told that the attendance at these three venues ranges from 5 to 30. One TLM venue in Mumbai has in fact come into being about a year or so ago, hardly possible if there was such hostility to the TLM by the Bombay Archdiocese. There is in fact no hostility towards the TLM by Bombay priests many of whom are not really aware about the TLM.

Hey Buddy! Latin did you say? Great!! Now if only you could open a special school for teaching that holy language and get all our people to attend classes/training! Unless you think that getting the Latin Mass back is sufficient for our salvation, whereby the Reverends and their acolytes do all the blah while the congregation sits, stands, kneels and sleeps alternating with fingering the rosary beads during Mass. Get that?

I would just like to say that in Mumbai, as elsewhere in India, Hindu services are conducted in Sanskrit ( a dead language like Latin) and Muslim services, in Arabic - not understood by rank and file.

And probably by Arabic you mean Classical Arabic, i.e. another 'dead' language.
