Maybe I'm too harsh. Who am I to judge?  :P

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

In all honesty, I don't feel anything for these people.

My favorite quote from a stupid Freshman:

“Just because I’m Catholic doesn’t mean I need to believe every rule the Church has. We think the rule over gay marriage is totally unfair. Everyone seems to think the same thing – that we should all be treated equal.”

But remember, the Church spends too much time talking about things like gay "marriage."
What do you expect?  the students' parents probably have caved in to same sex marriage too.
Look at all that tolerance.  :eyeroll:

The Thread or the News article?
Open question: suppose you were the pastor of the parish to which this school was attached, or suppose you were Abp. Sartain -- what would you do in response to this?

The right thing to do is to reiterate Catholic doctrine, then tell those who disagree that there's the door and don't let it hit you on the way out.

And expect to be harassed for the rest of my life.
Forgive me, please.... but I need to vent by posting this.

Their chants... their ignorance of the Church...

The pain eventually dulls the senses and you feel nothing.

Now I understand why some people I knew in the past valued homeschooling, even if I was creeped out by it.  :((
I'm actually in Seattle now and heard about this today.
I said in another thread and ill say it here,
I'm 22 and in my generation the people think that every one has to submit to gay marriage and a whole list of " equal rights"
Now the problem is, people either want nothing to do with Catholicism, and they love the Protestant churches because they support all these things like gay marriage.
Or the less educated ones say, like you quoted, I can be catholic and think the church should sanction gay marriage.
The point is, things like this happen because the politics of the day love putting these issues in the spotlight, and A large number of Protestant groups agree with what Catholicism doesn't, and as a result a large obviously uneducated  youth population wants the church to submit to these things and they see the church as an out dated enemy to a progressive society.

To the few people I mention I came back to the Catholic Church there response is "why, my pastor is gay you think that's not okay ?"
It's very frustrating I can't find people my age that are willing to either leave the Church alone, or forget themselves and there ideals and look at something for what it is.

The other thing that frustrates me is these little miniscule things that shouldn't need to be scrutinized
Are becoming the only thing that people can talk about because its the only thing on peoples minds meanwhile the world falls more into sin daily and Protestantism is entering the hearts of Catholicism and destroying what I have just started to  truly understand and love.

I'm quoted in my HS Yearbook saying this nearly verbatim. Pray for these kids. I had at least one pious relative praying for me.
