I have never believed in Garabandal but I see his friend and long time supporter Glenn Hudson has announced the death of Mr. Lomangino who was supposed to receive his eyesight back before he died according to what Garabandalists believe. May he rest in peace but this ought to be end of Garabandal I think.
" June 18,2014 - Joey Lomangino
53 years ago today, St. Michael the Arch Angel appeared in Garabandal. Today unfortunately, this is not as happy an occasion. It is with a broken heart, and the immense sadness that I regretfully announce the passing away of Joey Lomangino. I have confirmed this story with family, friends and Conchita.
As I am still in shock, I will have nothing more to say at this time, other than referring to a prophecy and the bible. On December 6, 1962,Conchi...ta had a 90 minute ecstasy around 5:30 in the afternoon after which, she provided two more pieces of information regarding the Miracle: 1) One day, before the Miracle, something will happen that will cause many people to stop believing in the apparitions of Garabandal. The doubts and desertions will not be due to an excessive delay of the Miracle.
I cannot answer if Joey had the same experience of seeing the Miracle as Padre Pio did, just prior to his death, or with his new heavenly eyes, only God knows.
I thank God for the priviledge of knowing Joey, and working side by side with him.I still believe in the prophecies of the Warning, Miracle, and Chastisement. I ask you all to pray for Joey.
"For My thoughts are not your thoughts nor your ways My ways. For as the heavens are exalted above the earth, so are My ways exalted above your ways, and My thoughts above your thoughts." (Is. 55: 8-9)"

Yeah, too bad.  I myself think it's a hoax, but this man's soul, as well as that of the alleged seers all need prayers.
I was kind of hoping that God would send a supernatural sign to warn the world before the chastisement. Not many people take Fatima seriously.
May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
Pray Pray Pray
This is sad news.  And I suppose it is the final nail in the coffin of Garabandal.  T'was a hoax.  But I suppose some good came of it.

Depending on which private revelations you believe to be true, there are supposed to be signs.  I know the Three Days Darkness prophecies have had a list of reliable saints contribute to it.  But stuff like Garabandal... I don't see why anyone believes it.

I didn't put much stock in Garabandal, but I am wary of condemning private revelation. Don't want to find myself calling the truth a lie like the Pharisees 2000 years ago.

The three days of darkness has been talked about by many saints in many times throughout history.
There were many good fruits in Garabandal, like in Medjugorge, but this doesn't mean the apparitions weren't hoaxes.
Now all we need is for Medjugorje to bite the dust. All other false apparitions will follow suit.

The gravy train is still rolling for those kids.  And likely will for years to come.  But Medjugorje will also be shown to be a hoax.  The devil sure is persistent.
