If you had to pick at top 5 list of saints or blesseds (besides the obvious choice of Our Lady), which ones would you pick:

mine would be :

1. St. Joseph
2. St. Francis de Sales
3. St. John Bosco
4.  St. Juliana Falconieri
5. Bl. Emporer Karl
1.  St. Abraham the Patriarch.

2.  St. Martin de Porres

3.  St. Benedict.

4.  Japanese Martyrs

5.  Bl. Columba Marmion

St. John the Baptist
St. Joseph
St. Francis
St. Hildegard
SS Mary Magdalen and Martha (I have to keep them together)

I really have a fascination about the Magi, too. And I really want for SS John the Divine and Luke to be in there, too... There are so many who are so interesting and inspiring!

St. David (of Old Testament fame)
St. Cuthbert
St. Nicholas of Myra
Sts. Cyril and Methodius
St. Guthlac

There are so many amazing, inspiring saints but off the top of my head this is what comes up.
Our Lady and St Joseph are a given....these are the next one perhaps.  (although I love many saints):

St. Francis and St. Clare (together)
St. Maximilian Kolbe
St. Pio
St. Therese
St. Agnes

and some others I pray to daily: St Thomas More, St. Joseph Cupertino and St. Leopoldo Mandic
St. John the Baptist
St. Barbara
St. Francis de Sales
St. Vincent de Paul
St. Therese of Lisieux
I read the OP as a top five, period, not a top five I have a personal devotion to.  So that would be:

St. John the Baptist
St. Joseph
St. Paul
St. Francis
St. Thomas Aquinas

For me, it's (after the Blessed Virgin)

St. Sebastian (duh  )
St. Joseph
St. Catherine of Siena (pictured in sig)
Bl. Pius IX (pictured in sig)
St. Robert Bellarmine (pictured in sig)
Just 5?!?!?!?  Well, okay....

The Theotokos then:
1. St. Michael The Archangel
2. St. Ephraim The Syrian
3. St. Benedict
4. St. Seraphim of Sarov
5. St. Francis of Assisi
6. St. Mary of Egypt
St. Joseph
St. Aloysius Gonzaga
St. Barbara
St. Teresa of Jesus (of Avila)
St. Philomena

St. Catherine of Siena, St. Dominic, St. Monica, St. Clare, and Sts. Felicity and Perpetua
