Does anyone know where I can read the works of St. Jerome online or for free? Or if some of his writings are compiled in a book available for a modest price (under $30, preferably)? I know he wrote "Hebrew Questions on Genesis;" the only book I can find for this sole work is printed by Oxford University Press and it's between $80-$130 (what is Amazon thinking?).

That's not Amazon's fault - Oxford University Press books are notoriously high-priced; Brill is another publisher that does this. They basically price their books to be purchased by libraries, not individuals. I guess it works for them!

Academic books are more expensive because they often have very small print runs (only 300 copies is not unusual).
