Full Version: Relatio finalis will be published with controversial paragraphs?

Well I'm sorry to point this out to yall but it appears that Cardinal Kasper was right. A majority of the bishops there did seem to support his idea. The paragraph did get a majority of the votes, and a pretty big majority at that,  just not the 2/3 necessary to official adopt it. So it kinda strains reality to say they were rejected, they just didn't get a super majority. Who knows how much support they will have in the general synod next year. It's certainly not even a little far fetched to imagine Pope Francis approving the proposal on the grounds that a large majority accepted it.
eh, the paragraphs in their final form are way different and not nearly as bad as the originals. We don't know what the vote would have been if the originals were kept.
