Recent days have witnessed the destruction of Christian symbols in Europe and the United States and the disruption of a Mass.

On Christmas Day, a vandal entered a parish in Douai, France, and decapitated the heads of eight statues in the Nativity scene. La Voix du Nord reported that the week before, vandals had sprayed swastikas on the church, along with the word “pedophile.”

In response, three churches in the city of 40,000 will now be closed except during Mass.

In Bailleul, a nearby town of 14,000, the image of the child Jesus was taken from the crèche in the parish church.

Five protestors identified as Muslims, four of them children, disrupted a Christmas Eve Mass in Mönchengladbach, a city of 250,000 in western Germany. They entered the church shouting obscenities at Christians, the Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians reported.

In Gross-Enzersdorf, a village of 9,000 in eastern Austria, an Egyptian Muslim immigrant sawed down a crucifix that had been a place of pilgrimage for six decades.

In Haverhill, Massachusetts, the image of the Child Jesus was taken from an outdoor crèche at a Catholic parish and replaced with a pig’s head.

In the weeks before Christmas, Nativity scenes were also vandalized in El Cerrito, California, and Berwyn, Illinois. In the latter incident, young people, one of whom shouted, “Long live Satan,” beheaded statues of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Joseph in a convent garden.

We need a new Blessed Charlemagne to set an example to these to-day heathens and behead 4000, whilst encouraging the catholic population and giving lands, privileges and temporal power to the Church.
Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Christians should fight back. Honestly they only do this sort of thing because most Christians don't . Ideally we turn the other cheek but in many places our very existence is at stake. It's not too late for Western Europe but Christians need to stand up and take up arms and fight back before it is too late.

We should not even have to apologize for fighting back. If someone disrupts Mass the men there should have dragged the offenders out and roughed them up, no apologies.

We should strive to be at peace with all men but sometimes we must resort to firmness or even violence to ensure our survival.
Police in Haverhill, Massachusetts arrested a homeless woman on December 30, charging that she attacked a police officer with a crucifix that had been taken from a vandalized Nativity scene outside a local Catholic church.

Police confronted the woman, identified as Amarellis Cermeno, after witnesses said that she had written the number “666”—a number associated with Satan—repeatedly across the outer walls of a Protestant church. She reportedly slashed at the police officer with a metal crucifix.

Upon investigation, police found that the crucifix had been taken from a crèche set up outside Sacred Heart church. Last week the figure of the baby Jesus had been removed from that crèche and replaced by the head of a newly butchered pig.

Cermeno has been charged with several criminal offenses. She is being held for psychiatric evaluation.

Hard to fight back unless you're just talking about hauling disrupters from Mass, or maybe also secretly guarding our churches and creches and such and beating the crap out of any vandal that happens to do something nasty on your watch. Without the megaphone, there's not much to do about it. Journalists, their editors, and the folks who employ them all don't give a rat's ass about Christians. Nor do the politicians. So what are we supposed to do?

If Christians were to band together and form some group, say the "Christian Defense League," and collect such stories, send out press releases about them, and beg for money like the ADL does, I doubt it'd do a thing. Press releases would be ignored, and the big, fat billionaires aren't Jesus-friendly, so we won't have their money to hire lawyers, put up billboards, take out ads, hire writers, make fancy websites, buy politicians, etc.. While the ADL says "jump!" and people quiver and ask "how high?", a demand from the "CDL" would be met with mockery, accusations of "theocracy" and "fascism," and we'd hear about how we Christ-lovers lack a sense of humor, hate art and science, and are such prudes. The CDL would be called a "far-right extremist organization" and accused of stockpiling weapons or some crazy thing. Certainly the IRS would do something bad to it.

Europe and North America have been overtaken, their cultures wiped out and replaced by something entirely different. We've been conquered not by Muslims, nor by Africans, nor the Swedes, the Mormons, the French. You could add Wiccans, Buddhists, Native Americans, and the people of Bangladesh to the list, too. Can't say who's taken us over, but it's been said that when you want to know who rules you, determine whom it is not OK to mention in a bad light.

But back to the "CDL" idea, I think it's worth trying anyway. With the internet, maybe something could happen that doesn't depend on the mainstream media being decent.

This is why Catholicism is just as bad as Islam.  The world will be a better place without any vestige of Abraham.

Gandhi was a wise, wise man!
Well I'm  in no way advocating the forced beheading or forced conversion of anyone, much less wanton violence against Muslims. I just don't think we should simply turn the other cheek everytime someone disrupts a Mass, desecrates our churches or rounds up and slaughters our Christian brothers.  We should be willing to be heavy handed and violent with those that attack us.

There is room for disagreement here but I am not a Christian pacifist, as it seems suicidal. Muslims like those under ISIS are animals with no qualms about killing us to the last man, we should be willing to confront them with force and destroy them and make no apologies for it. The same goes for Muslims in our communities that disrupt Mass or kill our brothers.

A vandal’s placement of a decapitated pig’s head at a Nativity scene at a Catholic church in Massachusetts shocked locals, but they committed themselves to pray for and to forgive the perpetrator.

“When it comes to who did this, or why did they do it? That's something for the police to figure out,” Bishop Robert Hennessey, an Auxiliary Bishop of Boston, said at a Dec. 27 Mass at Sacred Hearts Parish in Haverhill.

“They know how to confront crime, but we know how to confront evil. That's why we gather as a Church, together, to pray.”

On Christmas morning, the parish’s parochial vicar, Fr. Benjamin LeTran, discovered that the Nativity scene’s statue of the Infant Jesus had been stolen and replaced by a recently decapitated black pig’s head, the Boston Pilot reports.

A woman from Haverhill, which is located 35 miles north of Boston, brought another statute of the infant Jesus to replace the stolen statue.

Fr. John Delaney, Sacred Hearts' pastor, said the woman’s action was “a sign of hope” on a day of “sadness and hurt.” He said that congregants at the church came “full of love, full of forgiveness.”

Fr. LeTran said he saw the Nativity scene as “a great message” of “God’s love for us, the message that Jesus brings into this world.”

Bishop Hennessey said the Dec. 27 Mass, then blessed the Nativity scene. Churchgoers then sang “Silent Night.” The bishop expressed support from the Boston archdiocese and Cardinal Sean O’Malley.

The vandalism drew condemnation from many.

Haverhill mayor James Fiorentini said the vandalism was “an outrage” and contended it had “all the elements of a hate crime,” the Boston Globe reports.

“I want to state in the strongest possible way that this does not reflect our community,” said the mayor, who is a former parishioner of the church.

Ibrahim Hooper, national communications director for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, said Dec. 26 that American Muslims “stand with the Christian community in condemning this desecration of a religious display and against anyone who would target a house of worship in such an apparently hate-filled manner.”

Police on Dec. 30 arrested a 54-year-old homeless woman who allegedly wrote the number “666” 15 times on another Haverhill church, La Iglesia Biblica Bautista. The Boston CBS affiliate WBIZ reports that she was carrying a large metal crucifix. She tried to hit an arresting officer with the crucifix, which police say came from Sacred Hearts Church’s Nativity scene.

The woman denied placing the pig’s head in the Nativity scene, but admitted vandalizing the other church.

A police detective familiar with the woman has said he believes she may have an “altered mental state” at times, according to the Boston Herald.

Police are still investigating whether the woman was involved with the vandalism at the Catholic church. The woman has been ordered to undergo a 20-day psychiatric evaluation before her next court appearance.
