A restart of an old thread to give more people a chance to answer.
I suggest taking the Holy Family for granted, so who are your favourites after them? Mine are:
1)St John Chrysostomos (my Name Saint)
2)St Elias the Prophet
3)St Louis X
4)St Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort
5)St Pius X
My favourite Beati:
1)Bl. Titus Brandsma, O.Carm.
2)Bl. Pius IX
3)Bl. Karl, Emperor and King
4)Bl.Margaret Pole, Countess of Salisbury, First cousin once removed of Henry VIII, who had her executed.
5)Bl. Franz Jägerstätter, Martyred by the Nazis.
And, just to complete the lists, my five favourite Catholics who are neither Sancti aut Beati
1)Regina, Empress, Wife of Bl. Karl
2)G.K. Chesterton
3)Mons. Ronald Knox
4)Ven. Edel Mary Quinn, Legion of Mary, Missionary
5)J.R.R. Tolkien
