I read on this link that public veneration shouldn't be given to the relics of a Servant of God. http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/r...ed-may-12/  But is private veneration allowed? Thanks :) (by the way the Servant of God Archbishop Luis Martinez, is wonderful and wrote some really great books!)
If I read the below right, there's nothing against a private devotion to a Servant of God.

Along that line, I have a devotion to Bl. Carlo Gnocchi.
You are permitted to have a private devotion to a servant of God. If any miracles occur that you feel are due to this persons intercession thatn you are asked to contact the people who are advancing their cause to let them know.
