Aside from what Fr. Lombardi explained regarding what Francis said, do you think Fr. Richard G. Cipolla or any of the 30 prominent  pro-life leaders who all sent open letters will get a response from Francis?

I agree.
I don't know what's the matter with the shepherds in our Church. Pope Francis was silent during the Irish vote and now the Italian vote. Even in NY Cardinal Dolan skipped town when there was a vote in the House about gay marriage. However now we're going off to celebrate the Reformation. Dear Jesus help us and your shepherds.
