A Nigerian bishop has encouraged his people to find forgiveness for the killers responsible for an April massacre.
Bishop Godfrey Igwebuike Onah of Nsukka spoke at a service for some of the dozens of victims of an April slaughter in the southeastern state of Enugu. "Although we may find it hard to forgive the violent attack that has brought us so much grief, we know that an unforgiving spirit will never bring us peace," he said.

This reminds me of when my mother was murdered. The man who killed and mutilated her body said that her last words in this life were, "Jesus loves you."
