This is a pleasantly surprising turn of events.  I guess the moral of the story is don't pass judgment too quickly based on faulty media reports.
Faulty media reports, yes. But does he not realize by now that he needs to be very, very clear?

Well, one statement down. 547 to go.
The media would put out faulty reports about Catholicism?  Say it ain't so. Eye-roll

The Holy Father really needs to slow down and quit speaking off the cuff, since it's a given his words will be twisted.
I'm sorry, but I don't buy it.  He would have an excuse if he gave one airplane press conference and the media twisted his words. There is no excuse for multiple press conferences. If he were really concerned with the wrong message being passed along to the faithful, he would not give these press conferences.

It is only fair to assume at this point that he wants the confused message to be spread to the world.  Other world leaders, by the way, are able to convey their messages quite clearly through their press secretaries and other actions.  They have the same amount of media specialists and resources as the Vatican has.

At some point, we have to remove the blinders and see the truth about what is going on.  This is all deliberate.  No one is this cunning by accident.

I have to agree with you, ermy_law. The link below has been posted before about how Pope Francis left the Jesuits in Argentina and now, it certainly appears, he is doing the exact same thing to the Church.

What I don't understand is, why is a commission being set up to discuss women deacons, since it makes him angry? I don't get it.  Huh?
I think we should pray for the Pope.
