Here is an example of baptism of blood;

Eight people died when a group of militant Muslims burned down the home of a man who had intervened to stop the lynching of a Christian convert.

The violence began when a young man-- a Muslim student who had converted to Christianity-- was accused of insulting Islam and severely beaten by his classmates. A passerby saved the student, bringing him to a nearby hospital. The militants then attacked that man, burning down his home and killing the eight people inside it.

More like pure unadulterated islam. Prayers for the injured and murdered,and prayers for the utter destruction of Islam from the face of the earth.

Barbarism, islam, eh.  You say tomato, I say tomahto.

On a related and lighter note, I have a couple colleagues who are of the "Islam is peaceful, all religions are the same" persuasion.  When this sort of thing makes the news, it's become almost a sport for me to walk up to one or the other and say something like "this looks like the work of the FSSP," followed by "wait, nevermind, you know the answer."  You can see the veins throb in their foreheads. :LOL:
"May Saint John the Baptist protect Islam ......"

Luckily the Forerunner is in a place where he does not have to honor the request of the Pope. From the halls of heaven such a request must sound moronic. Maybe it should have been "St. John the Baptist, please protect mankind from the scourge of Islam ".

Or that Muslims convert to Christianity and save their souls.

One can only wonder at the level of Divine anger and contempt of St. John the Baptist in Heaven at his Holy personage being invoked when this blasphemous statement was made, as Islam tramples the Mystical Body of Christ...
And by the way, Poche, the above is not an example of Baptism of Blood.

Nigerian mob kills Muslim who saved Christian from lynch mob

The man who was killed for his good deed was also a Muslim, and presumably the others as well.  He did not die confessing Christ or as a Christian martyr, as would be necessary to qualify as a Baptism of Blood.  Even that same website defines Baptism of Blood as :

Catholic Dictionary

BAPTISM OF BLOOD Definition

Martyrdom in the case of a person who died for the Christian faith before he or she could receive the sacrament. The effects of martyrdom of blood are the complete remission of sin and the title to immediate entrance into heaven. The expression entered the Christian vocabulary during the first three centuries when many catechumens awaiting baptism and pagans suddenly converted to the Christian faith were martyred before they could receive formal baptism of water. http s://www.catholic culture.org/culture/library/dictionary/index.cfm?id=32084

That guy went senile and should have had the guts to stand down when he was in his right mind. His first mistake was stroking the ego of feminism and this was his second. Yet they made him a saint......
