This coming weekend is the 150th anniversary of Canadian confederation.  July 01, known as Canada Day, will also see many Canadian Bishops re-Consecrate Canada to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  SSPX chapels across Canada will also be taking part in the consecration.  As this is not a mandatory date, not all dioceses will do their consecration on Canada day, some intend to perform their consecration on August 15.

Canada was initially consecrated to the Immaculate Heart in 1947.  I pray that consecration will bring Catholic Canadians back to the faith, and give us the graces needed to defend the unborn, to protect the elderly from euthanasia,  and to preserve the Catholic family - safeguarding it from the constant attacks of the cultural Marxists.  Canadian politicians and courts have lead Canada into a neo modernist liberal wasteland.

Immaculate heart of Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.

The text of the consecration can be seen in this link below.
