Full Version: Back to Ireland's Mass rocks

Today Ireland is not only reverting back to Paganism, it is becoming more anti-Catholic by the day. Our bishops and priests are Modernist cowards, not one defending Catholic tenets openly. Church orders close down and their buildings and lands are sold off for millions and millions by the year. Our people, 83% calling themselves Catholic, voted in same sex 'marriage' and next year will vote in more abortion.

Soon we could be back to the Mass rocks of other times of Catholic persecution.

Let us now share such an Irish Rock Mass recorded some years ago by my friend:

But, how this sudden transition of Ireland towards liberalism...? What could be the root causes...?

I lived through it all. The rot began after Vatican II when the Mass was Protestantised, traditional Cathechisms were removed from children's classrooms, and churches were stripped of sacramentals. My own church was 'modernised' just as  'Shopping centres are modernised' said the PP. I recall getting three beautiful crucifixes from a friend who told me he rescued them from a rubbish skip.

Devoid of grace all it took was scandal after scandal especially paedophilia, one after another, to give many an excuse to reject the Catholic Church and Faith.

I also heard some article mentioning that the Angelus bells played on RTE at 18h00 is going to go off air... Is that true...?

For years they have been trying to do that AngreasIosephus, Gradually the images have changed from religious to secular. Some radio commentators still refer the bell to the Angelus. I did hear a new attempt to get rid of it in under way.

See Voris in this post and you will see why.
