Depressing. But God will have his day. The Catholic Church will rise again.
And the question is, why?

Why have Protestants come to our Communion?  They don't believe in it.  They aren't sincere.

I've seen a surprising number of catholics on certain internet platforms actually defeding this decision. Their argument is that giving communion to protestant spouses has long been a thing in the Church.
Nothing can justify evil. This is sacriledge.

These aren't serious Protestants. Serious Protestants would never do this( out of disagreement and respect for the rules of the Church) Both the "Catholics" and the Protestants in this story are radical liberals

Most likely both are Freemasons, publicly setting the precedent to get the ball rolling.
