The Lord made the world, gave us nutritious plants to eat, with beautiful flowers, and we call them weeds, lol.

Plus they're free, don't have to be transported half across the globe and will be there (God willing) post shtf. I call that a deal.
People brought dandelions to America, I read, as food. Yet people today ironically don't like eating dandelions (typically) and now they are seen as weeds. The trick to eating dandelions I think is boiling them multiple times and throwing out the water between the boilings. I only boiled them once and it tasted bad still.

Some are native to N. America, although the most common ones were introduced. As far as eating, they're better when young, before the flower turns to seed. When dandelions get older, the leaves.
