Do you always kneel?
Do you sit?
Surely kneeling is more reverent, and therefore probably the better option.
However, sitting — or even lying down — could possibly take your mind off your body (viz. any discomfort in the knees, back, etc.), and perhaps help to focus more attentively on the meditation.

Thoughts?

Not really, mostly sit if it's private prayer, if it's before the blessed sacrament I'll try and kneel or just sit.

Most of the time (I have a very comfy chair at home).

Only before the Blessed Sacrament IMO.

Whatever works for you, the important thing is to pray IMO, but obviously we would never lay down before the Blessed Sacrament, only in private prayer at home for example.

Hope this helps and God Bless You
Almost always sitting when I'm home. I get way too distracted by the pain in my back and knees after a while.
I sit, except when I'm in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
If I were to kneel, I'd get precious little meditating done. Even in front of the Blessed Sacrament, I kneel for my preparatory prayers and then sit until I'm ready to say my closing prayers.

I don't think it's appropriate to kneel when you meditate, I think you should sit because you should make yourself comfortable.
Meditation is not penance.
I always sit when I do meditation.
The pamphlet that I got from the Carmelites recommends sitting comfortably. I take their advice. ;)
