"German Catholic bishops call for change to Catechism on homosexuality"

It seems that the German Bishops do not believe it can be possible to live a chaste life, but then again seeing that the German church was apparently happy to make money from pornography, should we be at all surprised?

It's always the German-speaking countries...
America nuked the wrong country and never should have taken half of Germany...they should have given it all to Stalin as a consolation prize.

Perhaps they're determined to compensate for their 'history', and therefore use every opportunity to appear 'tolerant' and 'inclusive'?

Nah. It's something in the water. Luther was not very 'tolerant' or inclusive'. The Old Catholic heretics didn't start out that way, either. I'd like to blame it on the North Germans, (because my people came from the South) since that's where Luther was from, but Döllinger was eine Bayerische, and should have known better.
eine Bayerische? A Bavarian? What has that got to do with anything?

You need to work on your reading comprehension or your geography. I was joking that I'd like to blame all the heresy on Germans from the north. If Döllinger was from Bavaria, it's obvious that he was not a North German.
We have rotten Bishops everywhere !  Southern Europe, British Isles, Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the USA. And don't forget Bishop Schneider is an ethnic German, along with Cardinals Brandmuller and Meisner.

Very true on both points, but I know of no other country in which the blatantly non-Catholic Prelates are in total control and are pushing the destruction of the Faith as are the Germans.

And, to be fair, even within the active German Bishops, there are one or two Catholics. Rainer Maria, Cardinal Woelki comes to mind. Thank God he's only 64 and has 11 years until forced retirement, and 16 as a voting Cardinal.

Of course, there are calls for his resignation because of his handling of abuse cases, so it's a question of whether the woke anti-Catholics of the Central Committee of German Catholics (pro-Synodal Way, pro-pervert marriage, pro-'ordination' of women, etc.) can get their way and force his resignation.

Yes, but a very special rotten comes from Deustchland. Hence the Rhine flows into the Tiber.
