Does anyone know how I can find the meaning of a military bar pin that I recently found? Total of five stripes. The exterior edges are yellow (the first and fifth stripes), followed by thicker red stripes (stripes two and four), finally white stripe in the middle.

I think it's a JROTC ribbon. U-R324. I don't know what it's for though.

I don't know what drives me down these rabbit holes of research, but goaded by Jack's guess, I found a poster of all JROTC ribbons. I did not see any that matched the description. I then checked all current US Military award ribbons, also without finding it. I did not check the NJROTC ribbons or the AFJROTC (if such a thing exists). Could it be a police department or fire department award?
