Hello Fisheaters - Robhaidheuch - 08-19-2008 It's good to find a Catholic Forum. I was born in Scotland where I still live. I was an altar boy who served the traditional Tridentine Mass during the 1960's, and remember the Second Vatican Council being in session. I think a lot of bad decisions were made, and I suspect enemies of the Catholic Faith had some input in the council. I'm glad that I am not alone in my misgivings, and hope that Pope Benedict steers the old ship back on course. I am the father of three grown-up children and married to Anne who was raised a Jehovah Witness: she converted to the Faith, after we had been married twenty five years, praise God. I'm a painter/decorator, although I did work full-time as a professional musician/singer/entertainer for a number of years, and still perform on a part-time basis. I love the Truth, and agonise over the ignorance that not only exists among non-Catholics regarding Catholicism but also by many who were baptised in the Faith. |
