Men's Dress Worn By Women - INPEFESS - 02-25-2009

Quote:It's nice that men spend so much of their time thinking about women's clothing. It's such a relief to me as a woman that I don't have to exercise my frail powers of discernment related to the horrible burden of what to wear every day.

Yes, it is nice as it indicates a genuine hatred of immodesty and seeks to help women understand the occasion of sin in which they often unwittingly place men's souls.

Any moralist who has ever studied and written on the subject of moral theology does so for the same reason (I don't claim to be a theologian): to explain principals that haven't yet been successfully promulgated, acknowledged, or understood or that require further clarification.

Pax Domini sit semper vobiscum; et cum spiritu tuo.

It does seem to me that men ought to be more focused on men's clothing. Another proof of why I'm the best Catholic ever.

I prefer to think of it as "the best of both worlds".

If you don't already, you should have a St. Martin of Tours medal - patron of tailors <i>and</i> soldiers.  [Image: waytogo.gif]

I didn't know about the tailors one. Fascinating.

I do have Regine Pernoud's book <a target="_blank" href="http://www.amazon.com/Martin-Tours-Soldier-Bishop-Saint/dp/1586170317/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1235686965&sr=8-2">Martin of Tours: Soldier, Bishop, Saint</a>.
