Yep I suppose the Pope will be making a surprise visit to a synagogue soon to pray for the coming of the messiah.

These people in Palestine are no more to be considered than squatters, and besides they are not Jews because they cannot trace their bloodline to Abraham.  They are Khazars (read: "wandering") and Ashkenazi Jews (literally, "German Jews") and embrace the ideology of Zionism, a movement for a sovereign national homeland.  But Palestine does not belong to the Jews any longer, much less to the Khazars and the Ashkenazi.  Orthodox Jews, grouped under Neturei Karta (which see) have condemned Zionism as a Rebellion against G-D" and do not recognize the existence of the State of Israel, and particularly speak out its objection in the aggression of Isreal against the Palestinians.  The bishops are definitely correct in their statement.  This would have been and was the stand of the Church prior to the politically correct Holy See of the Vatican II era.  The Vatican's modern position on her relation with the State of Israel is detailed in "From Ratisbonne to Reflections by Peter W. Miller," which provides a contrasting approach towards the conversion of Jews.  "With Reflections on Covenant and Mission, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has submitted its contribution to an increasingly disturbing pattern of statements aimed at facilitating 'interreligious unity.'  Exhibiting a rare display of honesty, the now infamous document goes beyond the previously uncontroversial claims that Judaism represents a still valid and potentially salvific covenant with God, and directly challenges the Church's mission towards the Jewish people.  It seems the Holy See needs to protect its stance vis-a-vis Israel.

Give in to the Jews and they'll rapidly destroy the Church. There can be no peace between the Kingdom of God and the Synagogue of Satan.

That is a dire lesson that our ancestors learned the hard way and that the disciples of the new Pentecost so easily forgot.

I would like to point that the Christian Crusaders were true Zionists in that they believed the Promised Land belonged to the Chosen People of God, the true Hebrews: which is the Church, the Chosen People of the Covenant of Christ. It never occurred to them to call Jews the Chosen People since the denial of Christ meant a denial of any Godly covenant otherwise.

I often point this out to American Evangelical Zionists. Why should the land belong to Jews and not to Christians? Particularly, the Christians who are already living there?

Re: EASTERN CATHOLIC MELKITE BISHOP UTTERS THE UNPARDONABLE SIN - devotedknuckles - 10-26-2010

Can mohamadans  ever bmb or shoot anyone on their own  Have they? Or have mohamadans always and ever will be jus pasties on he Zionist string?
Just curious
considering thebHoly land is catholic land thbmeans both Jews and mhamadans are squatters it's absurd to consider Jews squaters yet accept mhamadans in the Holy land
this makes no sense
t mw anyway though I'm sure mullah bn credo and the pox will disagree
such is life

It's quite simple , The Pope and the Bishops must tell the Jews and Muslims that they must accept JESUS as their Messiah or else they will spend eternity in HELL which i hear is alot worse than the situation in the Holy Land. JESUS gave the great commission to preach to every human creature, i assume that includes, the atheists, agnostics, Protestants, Jews, Hindu's , Muslims and Buddhists.
