Yeah but things were being messed with by then in 1968 when he died the Mass that was in use in most parishes didnt include the prayers at the foot of the altar the last gospel was gone the protestant communion table was in place and the Priest faced the people. Even Padre Pio's last Mass was said at a communion pic nick table facing the people. Re: Wonderful Vignette of rare Padre Pio footage - winoblue1 - 11-11-2010 Great video clips, thanks! Shows that Padre Pio was also a bit cranky... at the end he hits the camera man with his waist cord... I'm reminded of this photo of St. Pio with Archbishop Lefebvre: Well all Pius XII did was to be one of the saintliest Popes we have ever had and a true Catholic who wrote against many of the churches modern practices and saved thousands of jews. But JPII was a rock star who taught universal salvation and had clowns perform for him at the vatican its obvious who should be the saint. ::) Re: Wonderful Vignette of rare Padre Pio footage - Historian - 11-11-2010 (11-11-2010, 01:47 AM)Baskerville Wrote:(11-11-2010, 12:04 AM)Pax et Bonum Wrote:(11-10-2010, 11:59 PM)Baskerville Wrote:(11-10-2010, 11:38 PM)Pax et Bonum Wrote:(11-10-2010, 11:31 PM)Baskerville Wrote:(11-10-2010, 08:40 PM)Pax et Bonum Wrote:(11-10-2010, 08:23 PM)Baskerville Wrote:Pope John Paul "the Great" (how I cringe when I hear that):(11-10-2010, 08:18 PM)Pax et Bonum Wrote:(11-09-2010, 11:38 PM)CrusaderKing Wrote: Thanks for sharing.
