Re: Voris responds to CRS response - Starry Plough - 07-26-2012

Most people would have walked away after the CRS letter. But Voris and his people worked a little harder and dug a little deeper and exposed the lies and falsehoods. Kudos to him and his crew.
Catholic Peace Corps is a terrific idea.

For those who are unaware, I believe that Michael now attends the TLM exclusively, although I don't have the deets.  Any TLMs in Ferndale, Michigan or the Detroit area where he lives and works?

He attends Assumption Grotto.  They have daily TLM mass and all NO masses are celebrated Ad Orientam.

This is Fr. Hardons old parish.  Fr Perone is the shinning beacon of the Detroit AD.

Re: Voris responds to CRS response - Tim - 07-26-2012

Catholic Pax Corps is a fabulous idea. This sounds like something beyond doing good works which would brng many to the Faith. Imagine young men and women in really tough neighborhoods showing the way through good without fear. Imagine young teachers having just graduated, working for two years and being paid room and board, with their debt being paid down, while teaching the poor. In the hey day of the Archdiocese schools took many African American and taught them gratis. These chilren went on to be stars, like the Gumbels of newscasting.  Catholic School teaching as rigorous as it once was would fix tons of problems.
