ROCOR decisions on the Western Rite Vicariate - Sant Anselmo - 07-15-2013

It seems likely that there were some extenuating circumstances with some of these ordinations, and with this particular bishop.  I am unsure of the background.  Either way, its pretty big news.

Yeah, it's too bad. I can't say that I know too much about what was going on, and it does sound like the WRV had a lot of problems, but shutting the whole thing down seems like an overreaction. I imagine things will be rough for those affected, but I suppose they always have the Antiochenes if things really come down to it.
