Anybody read it? Did it help you to understand her better? I've read her Book of my Life, but I'll admit, I find her writing style difficult to "process." Anyway, would you recommend it, or should I stick to St. Teresa's own writings?

Excellent book. Read the footnotes as they are most interesting and add much to the story.

To understand her I read her own words themselves. The Interior Castle, The Way of Perfection

Walsh is excellent. Not saying to not read Sta Teresa's own writings, but he'll give you excellent background.
